What determines the time at the clinic

The time from registration to finishing the check depends on the number of test items and how many patients are being served that day. A basic set covering history, physical examination, blood and urine collection, and a chest X-ray is usually quick compared with several specialised tests.

Early morning and after-work hours are the busiest periods. If you are in a hurry, arrive before peak times or contact us on LINE @824xsgsj in advance to reduce waiting.

Which items are fast and which take longer

Turnaround differs by test type. Items analysed in our own laboratory are reported faster than items sent to an external laboratory.

• Basic lab tests done in-house, such as complete blood count, fasting glucose and urine analysis, are ready in about 30-60 minutes
• Chest X-rays are reported by a doctor the same day
• Screening drug tests report quickly, but a positive screen needing confirmation takes several days
• Send-out items analysed by an external laboratory take several days depending on the collection round
• The medical certificate and summary for HR are prepared after the doctor reviews all completed items

When the medical certificate is ready

Usually the medical certificate is ready the same day, once the doctor has reviewed the results and assessed fitness for the job. If the company provides its own form, our staff complete and stamp it in the required format from registration.

When send-out items are included, our staff confirm the exact collection date during your visit, so you can plan when to submit documents to HR without repeated follow-up calls.

How to plan around your start date

A little planning ahead is enough to meet almost any start date, especially when a company is onboarding several new employees at once.

• Send your company's test list in advance so we can confirm coverage and estimate timing
• Come at least two or three working days before the document submission date, especially with send-out items
• Follow fasting instructions if glucose or lipid tests are included, so you do not need to return for a repeat
• Bring your ID card, the company form and your health history information on the first visit
