What this test is
A CBC report includes red cell count, haemoglobin, haematocrit, red cell indices, a white cell count with differential and a platelet count. Together they reveal anaemia, infection and clotting problems in a single test.

A complete blood count measures the cells that make up your blood: red cells, white cells and platelets. It is the most frequently ordered blood test, used in routine screening, pre-employment checks and diagnosis.
